How about some musical sound samples?! Where people actually sing and play instruments. I have no idea what these speakers sound like because all I heard was computerized beets and video game type sounds

I'm considering a Denon AVR and 4 of these, along with the matching center as a budget upgrade from a 90s system with 5 tiny satellite speakers and a sub... not sure what sub I will add to them, but those tiny satellites SUCK for music, and are only OKish for movies and TV ... would you say a set of these and a low cost Polk sub would make a pretty decent surround and music setup for a small room approx 20'x12' or so...

This is about the maximum I’d push a Polk T15, (in fact, this is really pushing it hard! I’d be surprised if the cones were not warm afterwards.) but really these are definitely enough for surround sound in large rooms like this.

You should consider dusting off some CDs if you have any and see if you like how they sound through those Polk Audio T Series Speakers

i have some old ass bookshelf speakers and powering them with a 100w amp and on high vil they get so distorted does it happen to thoes btw mine are ratyed 100 so idk why they get so distorted
