People who use and love Panasonic m43, IMO, don't really care what anyone else is doing. We're too busy getting work done with it.

I still think Panasonic should go the Ricoh GR route and make the smallest micro 4/3 camera possible. Give us the option to switch the infrared filter on and off, and will be a best seller.

I really think Panasonic nailed it with the GH7 as they previously did with the GH4, GH5 and GH6. Adding the PDAF, internal ProRes and 32bit float to what the GH6 already offered in terms of features is a BIG WIN. Yes a FF sensor will always get more light and there's going to be always a limitation when compared side by side with a BMCC or FX3. However if Panasonic stops today adding features, focus on power consumption and at least doubles the recording time, they will have probably the best selling camera on the market for years to come.

7:34 You’re awesome Kai, I love seeing you and Lok together, two unique voices we don’t often find here in the west. I love that you are critical when necessary and in this shot you just simply SHOW IT, I mean, no explanation necessary, that’s a shit autofocus system and totally unreliable as an “Auto-Focus” device. And here, you simply capture it and report as critical users of this equipment which is always for sale and always being upgraded, thank you for all the years of information I learned about Hong Kong, about cameras and about the both of you. You guys are awesome, thank you Kai and thank you Lok, together you’re hilariously informative.

I'm a photographer who takes photos during walks, I don't do much video with it. The advantages of a slightly larger M4/3 camera is that the slightly larger lenses are better balanced, think of the 100-400 10-25 and even the kit lens 12-60, the camera is still small and the lenses even more so compared to the same setup in full frame. The GH7 seems to me to be a great camera for the landscape and nature photographer because of the tilting screen and the better EVF.

It’s crazy because I literally can’t tell the difference between off, on, and low electronic stabilization on the Sony cameras.

For people that are using iPhones for professional videography, micro four thirds is an enormous leap in quality.

The GH7 rocks! It excites me more than any other camera of the last couple of years. Formidable is the perfect description of the new camera. Cannot underestimate how valuable that stabe is, and the float audio is the icing on the cake. I want one.

The body may be big for m43 but it’s the same as the GH6 so convenient that I could re-use my cage. Biggest selling point would be the audio for me too bad that the XLR2 is rather expensive. I’ll stick with m43 for 4reasons: compact lenses, affordable lenses, stabilisation and the audio options (on the GH6+XLR1).

Lenses size is a great advantage I got the s5 and still use my Gh5 just for the lenses.😊

To obtain a lower depth of field, you do not need the size of the matrix, but a long-focus light lens. I use gh6 in conjunction with voigtlande f0.95 60mm and 17.5mm. Excellent bokeh on both lenses, the depth of field at 60mm with the aperture open is such that one eye is in focus and the other is no longer there. So I recommend buying expensive lenses because it is the optics that draws the picture. The camera captures and saves this picture. Both gh6 and gh7 have all the functions that allow you to fully control the capture and saving of the image that the optics have drawn. Remember, optics come first, buying it, it will last you a lifetime, new cameras come out every 3-5 years, previous models are getting cheaper. Be wise.

Small size of lenses that's the big benefit to m43 👍

I saw this video title and when I read "Micro Four Thirds", in my head I pronounced it exactly in your voice.... ya got that unique accent man! Haven't seen a video of yours in years!

I find a similarity between GH7 and FX30. The only thing I would have wanted for the GH7 is the DMW-XLR2 as the XLR Handle Unit of the FX30

5:23 I love the buttons, I wish Sony would add 96k 32bit to the A7.

now we just need a tiny compact little micro 4/3 camera and I'll be happy

Even although it was satire you're right about the sony fanboys creators and ex ambassadors hating on panasonic products.

It’s very very tempting i have to say.

After G9ii I thought it was dead. Well, a budget sensor only going forward.
I think this is its last hurrah in full priced cameras.
