Is Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis Worth It?

Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis just released a few days ago. I've tried to play it, but just by a few hours of playing it, I already have some things to say about the worth of Episode Aigis especially when it is $35.

Episode Aigis has been flagged as this scummy business tactic by ATLUS because it is separated from the base game, was not included in the digital deluxe edition of the base game even though the store page says otherwise, and that it is priced an additional $35 on top of whatever you have bought before. Needless to say that the store page reviews for Episode Aigis will be mostly negative. That being said though, this practice of protest would mask the actual worth of the DLC by quality itself. This video will attempt to uncover that to know if Episode Aigis is really worth the money or not.

I didn't pay full price for reload. I waited for it to go on sale, and will do the same for this DLC. Its just not worth that asking price.

I was surprised to see they removed the scene where Yukari tried taking away the key from Aigis' hands. The voice direction (both in JP and EN) in Episode Aigis may have been much closer to the original FES' JP version, but removing that one scene after you fight her and Mitsuru took away a LOT of the emotional weight from the scene. I guess Atlus really took the criticism of Yukari in The Answer to heart.

I only played Episode Aigis because it is on gamepass but if it wasn't, I'd just look up the story on youtube, you could buy another game for that price

Honestly it should’ve been free or part of the game to begin it, but so far am enjoying it though

for my opinion on the game, it was amazing, I personally didn't have any issues with performance and since I didn't play the fes version i don't hate how its not in the base game. my only gripe with the game is how its £35 but only 12 ish hours long (for casual gameplay, not speed running or trying to do every little thing possible), but since I've got money to spare i don't mind paying for it, I just don't like how expensive it is

I think it would be positive reviews if the base game was $60 and Episode Aigis was sold for $10. I didn’t mind the price because I got a lot of value because of playtime I’ve gotten from this game, but I’m an exception not the standard for most people playing the game. I enjoyed the content but don’t agree with the price point.
