"Every frame is a painting" is the best description of the way Akira directs films

The films of Akira Kurosawa fascinate me because they’re all so different in tone and genre but they all ask the same questions like „What is honor?“, „What does it mean to be mortal?“, „What are we fighting for in this endless battle called life?“ and I think that’s beautiful

This has been one of my most anticipated videos ever, and it never disappoints. The fact you were able to compress such a extensive director known for consistently creating some of the most beautiful films into 3 minutes of storytelling, is what I respect from editor like you.

I was fortunate to have a Kurosawa class during my film studies in college. It totally opened my eyes to the artistry. He was an absolute master and influence to this day.

Watching this, I can get a better understanding of seeing how Star Wars was heavily inspired by Kurosawa

Akira Kurosawa, who is known as a sublime Japanese film director. Kurosawa, who won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival for "Rashomon" (1950) and was internationally acclaimed for his work on "Seven Samurai, " has also provided excellent direction in this film, making it very worthwhile to watch.
Kurosawa's many excellent works strongly inspired George Lucas, Spielberg, James Cameron, JJ Abrams and others who were still young at the time, but are now active as prominent directors, and led the world of film, becoming an object of admiration for young directors. Akira Kurosawa is without a doubt a legendary man, and his achievements will never be forgotten.
