Six Decades of Akira Kurosawa's Signature Composition

It's often argued that Kurosawa's visual style has evolved immensely through the decades to a point where his earlier style has almost nothing in common with his later work. In this video I suggest that his unique and striking triangular compositions were very much present from day one back in the 40's, throughout his entire filmography, up to his very last film in the early 90's. Kurosawa uses these beautiful compositions to evoke different and changing character dynamics, drama, conflicts, a large spectrum of emotions and perhaps just beauty for its own sake.
