Underwater ‘banging’ noises heard in search for lost Titanic tour submersible

Search teams detected underwater sounds on June 21, 2023, in an area of the North Atlantic where a tourist submersible vanished with five people on board during a deep-sea voyage to the century-old wreck of the Titanic. US Coast Guard officials said the sounds were reported by the crew of a Canadian search aircraft that had dropped sensors into the waters as the race to find the craft now believed to have only 24 hours of oxygen supply remaining.

Lesson learnt: If your vessel name has TITAN in it, dont send the founder on any voyage (for the safety of other passengers).
