US officials provide information on shooting down flying objects over North America

According to US Defense officials, the object was flying at approximately 20-thousand feet and posed a threat to commercial aircraft in the area.

The Pentagon believes it's the same object first detected Saturday over Montana, which flew close to sensitive military installations.

The US military is now working to recover debris from the object.
