The Angry Stage | ExMormon

Why'd I call it The Angry Stage? Leaving Mormonism is traumatic and many of us go through the stages of grief, the stage that I think active Mormons seem to notice is the angry phase. When we've given a large portion of our lives to something that evidence shows to be fabricated, it makes a good portion of feel upset and hurt.

Growing up, my mother took me to multiple denominational churches within the protestant faith. Some ok, while others were controversial and legalistic. The mormons use some of the same strategies to control people. I am WELL ACQUAINTED WITH LDS!

I'm considering to become a faith based counselor, to help people through religious traumas.

I’m married to an ex-Mormon. I was raised Catholic and my husband pointed out that some behaviors that my mom had towards taboo issues (like sex, drinking, drugs) were similar to what he had experienced in Mormonism. Watching your videos has helped me unpack some of those odd behaviors.

Did the church actually own Green Flake? I thought you had mentioned that in one of your videos that he was a tithing payment. I can’t find that anywhere online do you mind pointing me to a resource that says that. Also did you know they are making a movie on him?

My explanation of above verse

Islam mean > submission < to God

( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the "MUSLIM" and the Non-Muslims but total > submission < to God.)

Question: How Can Muslim And the Non-Muslim > submit < to the God?

Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work.

My comment:

The '' BASIC '' message of God to the human is that '' YOU '' believe in God and be kind to other human beings / animals and in the > RETURNED < God will reward you with a new life in Paradise.

* The Quran ONLY guides you how to become a good human being "Nothing Else".

* You are a good human being or a bad human being that is YOUR choice.

* No one can force you to become a good human being.

* You MUST work HARD to become a good human being.

* Why should ''YOU'' do good deeds and avoid bad deeds?

* Do Good - it's for You. Do Bad - It's against you.

* '' YOUR'' life is a TEST from God that you will choose to do either Good or Bad.

* Find the excuse to help others and forgive others NOT the other way around.

* '' YOUR '' final destination is either Hell or Heaven.

* So work HARD toward choice of YOUR destination.
