I live in a muslim country where it's common for mall to provide a prayer room... This video is so useful for me just in case I travel to a non-muslim country. So, thank you!

As a Muslim in a secular country, i will pray at staircase landings. It is pretty private. I would not recommend nursing or dressing room, ppl might want to use the room.

In the part of England where I live, most shopping centres have prayer rooms. My schools have always had them too, even though we don't have a big muslim population.

I like this yt channel because it simplifies religious norms/beliefs to make it easier to understand.
Thank you to the creators of this channel for helping me understand religious norms.

Love that you said "I follow the belief that I can't change in changing rooms, " because it says that other Muslim women can, and it's a choice whether you do or don't!! Love that!!

This is actually such a great idea to find a fitting room to pray it because they are usually empty anyway. Life saver. May Allah bless you a thousand times over Ameen.

i feel like there should be prayer rooms in big stores like that, even if they wouldn’t be used a lot they would be used by someone eventually and it just seems like the respectful thing to do

It would be awesome if they built malls with specific prayer rooms (especially in areas with a high Muslim population) maybe even have some indicator on the wall or floor (like a dot or different colored tile) that shows the right direction. I see so many empty stores just sitting for months or years that could be put to good use to make life a little easier for our Muslim friends.

I am not Muslim, but if you are out and about in America, and Family bathroom is spacious it has male female and sometimes the disabled symbol or baby symbol. If you get stuck outside, most places around shopping centers have back parking lots where we get truck deliveries, they are usually deserted and have small grassy areas if you need. Any stall that has a disabled picture on it in any bathroom usually has some space, but not a lot so keep that in mind, and its not as private so im not sure how helpful that is. Most any clothing store has changing rooms similar to in this video, but be careful some places only have a curtain or a tarp you slide over the door, it doesnt have a lot of privacy because not all changing room doors or curtains reach all the way to the ground. And if you are at the shore or beach most bathrooms have changing room type stalls, but again with only curtains or doors that dont always reach the bottom of the floor. Most of the time though no one will bother you if you need to stop in a parking lot or even pull to the side of the road. I have seen it a few times, a couple had to use their car doors and had a blanket they draped over the doors like a fort. They opened both doors, and put the blanket between the doors and used the windows to secure them like a box. I tried not to stare but i was curious but once i found out what was going on i went about my business. I hope this helped. Good luck out there friends what ever religion you practice, its a little tougher here, but i hope it doesnt discourage you! More people than not are friendly, its only the mean ones that are the loudest. Mucjh love❤❤❤❤

Please don't use a nursing room for anything other than nursing.

I once let a lady pray in the fitting room without letting any other know, just told her to grab a dress. She finished and thanked me. It was so good. Alhamdulillah 😌

I was wondering why on earth you couldn't change in changing rooms, then remembered working in retail and how faulty the locks were, and how many a times the doors just popped open lol. Makes sense to better be safe than sorry

Er, why are you taking the nursing room when it's for women to privately feed their babies? I respect your right to practice your religion safely and at any time, but using feeding rooms or disability spaces is really wrong. I hope prayer rooms are something commonplace soon for you.
