I actually like Hogsworth, i feel like he is an underrated character as i think he is one of the best generals in the series with some of the most experience. He fought in the nether civil war, in almost all of the nether invasions and he has won the majority of the battles. You could see how well his campaign was doing and how quickly he took the outpost. Though he did make a big blunder resulting in the destruction of his army and his capture.

I like how this series has actually turned into a full blown war, the frostbourne are outnumbered, but they use the terrain and weather to defeat the nether, they mix together magic and advanced tech perfectly together, it reminds me of the battles in lord of the rings, except here they don’t chit chat during battle

I love how each empire seems to have a part of war in which they thrive. The undead had mastered the ability to take down entire fortresses from the inside, the nether clearly has a mastery over conventional warfare, the frostbourne seems to have more skill in Guerrilla ops scenarios, and the end is best for a single powerful strike.

Hogsworth: he is strong enough to backhand the Ender Dragon with his shield, almost effortlessly. He apparently dominated dozens of towns with his (relatively) small force of maybe 30-50 men, excluding ghasts and blazes. Love him. He's great. Name's adorable. I love Hogsworth.

I love how the story has damn well matured since the start - Being more "war tactics" than just random ambushes and reinforcement calls.
Now there's actual wars, actual tactics and plans, terrain and weather usage, i really love it.
It's something that really good lore and stories have, i really love it, though I liked the series before as well.

Been watching this series since "the struggle" was released. I was 12 years old back then. Now I'm 16 and I am still hyped about this series. Glad I subscribed 4 years ago or youtube won't notify me if rain is still making videos

You know I kinda like military strategy myself so I just wanna say something.
The plan made by the Frostbourne was pretty good, using the blizzard to hide and then surprise the nether horde making their numbers useless since they can't see anything.
However if you have to do conventional warfare I'd have a plan

Here we have nicely been provided a map with troop movements, the nether are in the middle of a river crossing which is a pretty vulnerable position to be in.
The Frostbourne could've surprise attacked the bridge and (since they were using it to cross) split up the nether forces. Then, they could've left their strongest units to defend the small bridge passing and used the majority of their aermy destroy the nether forces on their side of the river separately (which would be easy since the nether don't have numbers advantage) . When they successfully destroyed them, the nether units on the opposite side would face a choice,
1) Keep trying to cross the small bridge that would remove their advantage in numbers and benefit the defenders
2) Cross a frozen rive to the other side

both choices will get them more casualties

As you can see, simple tactics solve problems

Also I love this story, please keep it up!

This is by far the best battle scenes ever animated in the entire storyline! Every character has been involved in the fighting as if it were those epic medieval battle scenes we see on movies. Truly epic! Keep up the good work Rainimator and the team :D

I love how each army takes all the advantages they have to fill use. The fact that the pig man army used pearls completely shocked me and using the blizzard was such a good strategy

Ok that was awesome. The Nether’s move with the Ender Pearls was strategically genius in this world. And is it weird that Hogsworth has always been one of my favorites?

The fighting animations, the animation for the speaking, the iron golems, they way everyone's fighting style was dynamic and not just copy pasted, the fights that were more focused on, lyria's wings. My Lord this was beautiful
