I have Cupid’s Jewel! I added it to my recent Lyndon Lyon order as an afterthought. It’s my favorite now. The picture on the Lyndon Lyon website didn’t do it justice. The color is great and it blooms like crazy. It’s like having a tiny peony bush at home.

I have a question, I read that for the good of the violet, they need to rest after blossoming or even during blossoming so the leaves have the chance to multiply get beautiful, longer stems, bigger leaves etc. Is it true? I also just watched a video where the owner starts poking all the blossoms so te violet can rest a give bigger leaves since he says the leaves of this particular violet (a wasp ) are a bit smaller. Is there any point where you do this? Thank you so much!

I always wanted to ask : Do violets have to be in complete darkness for at least 8 hrs. Meaning the artificial lights are off. But what about if some violets are close to a window. Does it matter if the ceiling lights are on? While people are still in the room? Does it affects somehow the violets? Or they need complete darkness at least the 8 hrs.

I was wondering if you sell the Russian beauties. I have some that have huge 10” leaf spreads, can I up pot to a 10” pot??
