You just saved me a ton of money. Going to use this to frost my acrylic. 😊

Tip: When spraypainting something, you want to spray across the entire target going WAY PAST the end of it so it doesn't accumulate on the ends... when you do a continuous back and forth motion targeting only the item... the spray paint is doubled on the edge while you do your return motion.

Thank you for your video. I was going to etch a whole pantry door but I think this is better!

Thanks for doing the comparison. I'm still considering the film instead of the spray after your demo because I want to be able to take it off. I don't really trust my spray abilities. I think it would helpful if you could please demonstrate how easy it is to take off the film in future comparisons. Maybe if you use some newspaper on top of the tarp it would help keep the backside of the glass clean?

But can you see in from the outside if you have your lights on at night ? Is it really privacy?

Thanks for the video! You have a pleasant, cheerful delivery! Maybe if you switch up the spray direction, horizontally one layer, vertically the next, etc., that would help even it out.
ALSO - Cost comparison is HUGE! One sheet of film (dimensions aren't very large per sheet, 1 sheet per box) is like $20 vs one can of spray, less than $7.

All you have to do to remove the spray is to use a razor scraper at a 15 degree angle and it's effortless.

Tried the film on 2 windows, its incredibly difficult on older windows, and my cutting abilities are shit. Going to try spraying. Heard acetone takes the spray off.

We used the film. Three bubbles could not be smoothed out so 2 days later I thought, "I'll just take it off and reapply ". Well, after 4 hours of scraping and rubbing with acetone, we probably have another 3 hours of work to get the glue off. Nightmare.

Put a bit of sellotape on both sides of film then pull them apart easy

Is this privacy film. I need a product that you can't see through easily

Obviously the paint would work on a nonremovable window but I wonder if that film would work or slip down.

I saw a guy put a masking tape on both sides of the corner and voila, pulls apart

Wrong sweetheart, once the film glue sets, it ain’t just peel off and do over. NOPE! You will have a glue mess to clean up off the glass, and it’s a pain to clean. Best way to remove is to wet the glue on the glass, and use a blade in an angle. Takes time but it works very well. Other than that, you were great! Love the nails btw.
