When my husband and I married, he told me that the Doctor told him he would probably only live 5 years because of his heart, and I told him that we'd have five good years together then....he listened to this song all the time like many others have. He lived 12 years after we married, seven more than the doc. predicted....we lived our lives as full as we could, motorcycle riding, raising great danes, camping, and finally building a "trike" for him. This was an amazing song for my love, my husband and my best friend. He took his ride with God in 2016 since we needed more thunder. I miss him terribly. Thank you for this song.

My husband loves this song, we listened to it at the beach about a month ago. Then about three weeks ago I played it for him while he was on life support. I'm listening to it now alone. I lost the love of my life on July 31st. Nobody loved deeper than him. And nobody loved him deeper than me.

First song I heard the day I was told that I had cancer. Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to go through my treatment and live like I was dying. 5 years cancer free. Thank you Jesus for giving me a second chance at life. I owe it all to you.❤🙏❤

I was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2013, during the toughest times of my battle
I would often get on my Harley and go out for a late night ride to clear my head. I would always crank this song out as loud as i could. It was a healing process for me, after beating the disease I moved 1600 miles away from home to heal and start over. After a few months I went to the Houston rodeo and was blessed to stand up at the railing and watch Tim McGraw play THIS song!!! It was a profound moment for me . I stood there with tears streaming down my face totally embraced by this song !!!
Tim, if you ever read this
Thank You and God Bless

My mom lived her last year of life to the fullest before she passed from an accident. This was one of the songs she played a lot ironically. She reunited with family, became closer to God, had fun and explored the beautiful world and cooked all the traditional foods she loved from back in España. TE QUIERO MAMI RIP.❣️

In 2016 just before Christmas, my wife of 28 yrs decided she didn't like dealing with our 4 youngest as teenagers and pre-teens. She walked out and I was pissed and lost. Now four plus years later, all but or youngest have grown into amazing adults. One served 4 yrs in USMC. One in college and the other works in day care and going to school. My youngest, a 16 yr old girl is a Jr in HS, a 4.0 student. I have custody of her and live every day as though this is my song. For the most part I have forgiven her, but still don't have contact with her. Live life, love The Lord and forgive. This sound is savior survival and loving life. That's what it for me. I love it.

Last night my best friend of 30 years told me he has terminal cancer and won’t live to see another birthday. I’m at a loss and kept thinking of this song. Don’t wait to do the things you always dreamed of because tomorrow isn’t promised

March 22nd 2023 - watching Masked Singer. It's country night and someone in a macaw costume is singing this song. I paused the recording before it ended to find it on YouTube and played it all the way thru, smiling. I'm a Jazz, Gospel, and R&B singer who has enjoyed some country too over the years. But these last 2 years I have been discovering country artists who have been amazing for years and I'm just now finding out! This is a beautiful song that has encouraged me to CHOOSE LIFE. I survived a near fatal car accident that paralyzed me from the chest down temporarily and I lost the use of my left arm. Spinal cord surgery gave me back my arm and today I am fully ambulatory with some restrictions. Life truly is a gift and music is our universal language. I love this song and will play it some more to remind me that life is short and we should live each day as fully as we can.❤
