Airforce pilot Scott and Damien jackhammered the galley floor and started sandblasting before destroying the rig's nozzle, hose, mixing value, and sand feed line! 'Scotty we have too much power!'
It turns out the new water blaster was too powerful for our sandblasting rig and started chewing the insides out. So, the solution? Get a bigger nozzle, what else?
We have a nosy at a large stainless steel navigation marker snapped off the seafloor when something big enough hit it, and Trev drops in to watch the guys work!
Amy from the states surprises us with an original painting by a local artist! Thank you Amy it's perfect!

It was a fun few days - if a little frustrating.

Hope you enjoy it!

Wow, it looks like Christmas came early on Brupeg. So nice to get something so special to help you remember Mishka. I like when you include some sitting down ‘banter’ during the odd break from work. It’s nice and casual and actual evidence that you don’t work all the time! Oh, and the rust time-lapse was so cool, well done! I’m heading straight out to my garage to pour acid over a couple of old motorcycles so they’re ready for paint by spring! There were some great ‘tips’ in that video... Thanks for the distraction. Be well.

We knew this was not going to be a one or two-day job in the kitchen Galley but it's really taking weeks!!
Great to see you got a fix for the sandblaster hope that's going to go smoother than before. Glad you guys had help this week Thanks to Scott.

Happy birthday Dame, Jess over the moon that you are up and about properly.
Have all of your symptoms gone completely or still there even if only slight. Cheers all of you she’s looking good. Also beautiful tribute to Mishka.

curved decks are for added strength (at least in one direction). Even today's flat decks have some sort of thickness for an embedded arch or other reinforcement for structure. Never just plain flat unless it's a roof or some non load surface. Even then, curves are good!
