A Spear is an underappreciated but a very prominent weapon that it serves it's purpose and it is versatile, thanks to the Youtube Channel called "Shadiversity". It can pierced unarmored to light infantry armor and it is the grandfather to a different variety of pole weapons. Of course it can deal against cavalry and large foes(fictional fantasy), but it is effective when it comes to numbers such as the spear wall.
