Miscarriages, while difficult to talk about, are an important topic that every expectant mother should be informed about.

There are two main types of miscarriages:

1️⃣ Missed abortion – when the foetus stops developing.
2️⃣ Threatened abortion – when you experience bleeding but the foetus is still alive.
Women with fibroids may be at a higher risk for this, as fibroids can sometimes cause the uterus to contract.
