As someone who got lure stuck in my finger and hand push it threw into the barb is sticking out cut the barb with a pair of heavy duty wire cutter and just pull it out this tool risk ripping more skin than pushing it threw for your finger be very carefully not to push the barb into your finger bone

There are a lot of people who don’t know that he is taking the hook out in a correct way, and is just selling a tool that makes the action easier by providing more leverage. Ofcourse, if you can push the hook through that’s better imo, but if it’s in an area you don’t want to/can’t push it through then this is the best way.

If people actually hammered down the barbs, they wouldnt need to worry about this. You honestly dont even need the barbs. Been doing it for years and never had a issue and when ome did get caught up, it was so easy and painless to pull out

Actually it damages the veins in your hand and there would be a blood leakage and even though the hook was barbed try cutting the upper part of the hook and push the hook all the way down to release the bard and try pulling it to the barbed hook the spikey one but this does not for a trebble hook but try removing it from a surgeon surely they will disinfect the hand first

I just always take the hook with my fish-unhooking-pliers and pull it out. I always carry disinfect spray when I go fishing, because it happens to me more often that I would like 😂

Had a hook in my hand last year. But it was stuck in a tendin. That shit wasn't coming out. I messed my hand up so bad trying to pull it. Took the emergency room almost a hour to get it out. They had to cut the hook and it was titanium. Don't use titanium hooks. They had so many issues cutting it.

Mannn if i believed in my product that much I'd do it in my own arm, only a few times of course because its going to hurt no matter what but you have proof your tool is better than braided line loop your making progress😂

This actually works but you can use fishing line and it’s a little different. Brother in law had to do it last year when he got all 3hooks in his finger
