Finally in a comfortable position to get a car for myself, and am able to indulge a fair bit. Caught in a dilemma, should I get a new Honda Civic with all the bells and whistles or BMW Premium Selection 330e M Sport?

Hi Bobby, can i ask for your recommendation for a used comfortable, premium(ish), cheap(ish) to maintain small-mid size car (preferably hatchback) below 60k. The lower the better. I'm currently thinking of lexus ct200h but heard it's expensive to maintain. Mazda 3, Inspira, Suprima S all sounds good too. Currently drive a mazda 2. Love it but want more NVH suppresion.

I query at MINI facebook group, got offered a used MINI R56 for RM49k(private seller). If I ask to nego for RM42k, so that I can put aside around RM8k (for wear & tear cost);is it a good bargaining offer or I harshly undervalue the car & upset the seller greatly?
Can you estimate for me how much I should try to push price down?

Is jetta 2014 a good buy? Driving Q5 now, but looking another car for wifey. For Jetta, is their gearbox issue solved? I read somewhere that after use mineral oil, it make difference. Can confirm? If yes, then is this solution also apply for Passat (not cc) 2013 1.8?

Hey Bobby, Im now 20 years old and I'm planning to join enduro for next year haha. And I'm planning to buy a car that Is fun to drive. I was thinking an bmw e36, just wanted to know whether the car would kill my wallet or not. However I do currently have a bmw e46 with a N46 engine from my parents. And I heard that this engine is really not reliable, so I do not dare to make it my daily driver to uni. My uni in ipoh haha, and i live in KL, so during break I'll drive up and down to ipoh.
