I’m trying for the first time this year. Seed started in January - worried I planted out to late though. They look healthy but don’t look like they’ve changed a whole lot since I planted them out. A few have tiny little stems that are just starting to pop up but about all. Would love to see how yours look at this stage of growth.

I just started some I had left over from last year since I know pelleted seeds don’t last as long. Do you think the heat of summer (zone 6) will bother them by the time they’re ready to bloom? I don’t mind if the blooms come later than most would expect them to bloom.

I tried one year...the most disappointing flower I've ever had so much hope to do well! 😭 4 months and they never got any bigger than the tip of my pinky! I was SO happy when I saw my local nursery carried 6 packs for the same price as all the other starts! 🎉

Do you start germinating all of your groups at the same time? Not sure how this will work in Texas but I’m thinking for 4 months germination, starting seeds in October would be best. But do you start groups 1, 2 and 3 at the same time?

I gave it a go and I was able to get most of them to germinate. My struggle is maintenance until they go outside. I’m breaking it up in small bites. First was to see if I could get them to germ next is getting them to survive for a few months. Is there a complete step by step video somewhere?!! They are my favorite flower. 😭
