Italian native speaker here. Allora can be used in other ways than the one expressed in the video, which I'd say to be pretty formal. Allora can be used in "Allora cosa facciamo?" meaning "So what do we do?", or like when someone is talking to you and doesn't finish you say quite angrily "Allora?!" meaning "So, go on!". It can be used for decisions: "Allora andiamo" -> "Let's go then". Make sure not to confuse it with all'ora, which means per hour -> 50km all'ora NOT 50km allora
