Patient with hemiplegia (paralysis) affecting left non-dominant arm following CVA (Stroke) is performing Mirror Therapy (MT) which provides cortical reorganization and facilitates excitability of the motor cortex (part of the brain that originates voluntary #muscle activity)

MT technique consists of performing #movements with unimpaired hand while watching its mirror reflection superimposed over the hidden impaired #hand, creating a visual illusion or simply “tricking your brain” of the impaired hand’s 🤚 movement capabilities or simply creating an illusion that the patient is watching his impaired hand move.
MT #rehabilitation technique uses mirror visual feedback to increase neural activity in the brain improving motor #recovery and function in stroke patients of all stages.

Hi dear I'm have a stroke on my left hand and legs would you please recommend for me where do I go for helping my finger please, I when to physical therapy for 3 months no body treat me they just give me the stuff and I do 1 hours and go home I been there 3 month but my finger still very weak they can even open and straight please let me know where do I can go to help for my hand thank you so much ❤️❤️
