Very nice Bike! But the Price is fare to high! I would expect a Rohloff Hub with a Belt drive for that price. Or you come up with a Alu frame and lower the price.

Derailleurs and a skinny chain, combined with a +/- 40 pound dry weight and a powerful electric motor . . . seems like a recipe for a lot of maintenance and reliability problems to me.

Why use a carbon frame on a commuter bike? It's an expensive bike as it is and now you throw a frame in that's going to likely break after a tumble or two or a kiss with an automobile. I guess you're aiming at someone who can just buy a new one every half a year. It's an interesting strategy of intense planned obsolescence.
