Just in case you are going to take a gamble and try one of the new skills, I am not giving these to you and telling you they are league starter... but they will give you some direction as to how you can get your build working and into the endgame.

I have been playing for 11 years or so and Melee is my most well known area of the game; so i have reworked 3 of my old builds from up to 4 years ago into the 3.24 POB client (pending the update) and have managed to balance them enough that you could follow them so you don;t get too lost in the process. They are far from perfect nor optimised, but should help at least if you're willing to take a risk.

*THIS IS NOT A LEAGUE STARTER GUIDE COMPILATION! Please don;t blame me if you have a shaky league start off of one of these, you have been warned!

Builds in order of video:
0:00 Introduction

1:39 Build 1 - Max Block Lacerate Bleed Gladiator (the new Eviserate Gem could work with this as well maybe)

3:53 Build 2 - Max Block Crushing Fist Retaliation Gladiator

6:50 Build 3 - 'Mix and Match' Any Slam Zerker Template

11:31 Conclusion

A thought on the bleed lacerate build. If you're playing softcore, you can probably get away with dual wielding axes and still be decently tanky with the default 20% block you get while dual wielding * 2 with one of the new gladiator ascendancy nodes, plus the loads of block nodes on the tree, etc. Sure, you won't be max block, but for softcore that's fine I guess lol. Soul Taker might not be a terrible choice for your second axe early on until you can get your mana under control with the increases to mana cost on lacerate, since it doesn't stop you from attacking while out of mana, though not having to reserve mana for banners any more might help mitigate that a bit as well. The life/mana on hit node on the passive tree in the bottom-right might be okay to grab TEMPORARILY, if needed, but ideally you'll just get reduced mana cost on your rings and probably be fine.

Any slam sounds like a perfect template as I really want to make a good self cast consecrated path as I have tried to do so several leagues in the past. Only ever was good with str stacking totems

Dang it! Just when I thought I really wanna try Shield Crush with some retaliation skill, you remind me that Slam Zerker could also be really fun.

Back to the drawing board we go.

I'm definitely going with Perforate of Bloodshed with Blood and Sand stance. It's been fun trying to cook a build with all the changes to bleeding and Gladiator

I was looking at the patch notes and noticed War of Attrition on the Gladiator. Looks pretty OP.

Video idea: What melee skills are good at Sims, Think a lot of people are curious about that. Another is what changed skills are good for Blight ravaged maps and why.

Thinking of going just a generic duelist leaguestart. Last league I started flicker, went well, thinking of it again. Kinda want to do a nostalgia league starter though, maybe do Double strike, managed to beat uber elder back in betrayal with that build, should be fun :)

Bleed Glad does seem like it might be pretty decent in 3.25. Prior to all the mele changes and such I leveled a lacerate glad in ssf to yellow maps. It had major survivability and damage issue at tier 10-11 maps. But that was a couple of leagues ago.

slams as a zerker is an interesting one, warbringer means you dont have to warcry as often (intimidating cry could last for 5 attacks instead of 3 now) so thats kinda cool
seems hard to compete with chieftan though, which gets infinite warcry power(like redblade banner)

I was going to do the second one.(retaliation skills). But What I notice from the GGG video is that the retaliation skills is something that you have to press the button after the skill is enabled. I might be wrong..

Any chance you would be willing to update your Glacial Hammer Jugg build since the skill went up from 269% to 622% Effectiveness of Base and Added Damage and "Pinnacle Bosses, Shaper Guardians and Elder Guardians can now have up to 50% Action Speed reduction (previously 30%)". Also a big thank you for all your hard work. I really enjoy your videos.

Please advise a pob on which you can start, and ultimately form the cyclone that was in the video. (2nd build in the video).
Thank you in advance.

I kinda want to do a Slayer with leech and a slam skill as my safe build. A slam Chieftan or bleed Lacerate hemorrhage Gladiator. I cant decide
