1:49 false positive can be due to sample/reagents contamination, or false negative when you dont get enough viral particles present or on the swab.

Horrible .
She discusses the False Negative rate between 8 and 33 percent.
But does tell us the False Positives rate.???
Why???
Hiding the truth, the false positive rate must be very very high scary high false positives.

I came down with chills fever and bad headache 1 week after I had a flu shot got scared and had a rapid covid test done came out negative . Three days later still having these symptoms my doctor said maybe it was a false negative and said to quarantine for 2 weeks ! Out of the question since i’m a caregiver for my 93 year old mother. Got retested today paid $175 my test would be sent to a lab instead of a machine that reads tests ? I had no idea of this

My husband and I have taken two tests and we don’t have any symptoms. But he can’t go back to work. Do you advise that we get blood test done. Please help us.

in other words, dont get tested or trust the results. btw, birx herself said 50% of positives are false and 50% negatives are too back around apr 28 2020.

Attended my father-in-law's funeral, wore a mask and practiced social distancing as much as possible - was very difficult at times without being outright rude to some family members. We find out 3 days after the funeral an aunt tested positive for Covid, said she wasn't feeling well at the funeral.
We find out mother-in-law, sick aunt, and other family members met at MIL's house for dinner. Husband and I refused to go. COVID positive aunt took her mask off and sat close to others.
Husband, mother-in-law, a few other family members, and I rush out for a test, thinking that's the smart thing to do, this is only 3 days after the funeral. We all test negative. Mother in law is so happy and rejoicing, but my husband and I are trying to explain that she still needs to be careful and quarantine for 14 days. This is a whole mess.
