Following the protocols in the Book Super Gut has helped my husband and myself so much. We are 76 and 65 years old respectively. The benefits are remarkable and we are both feeling tremendously better with more energy, sleeping better and much more. Thank goodness for you two and others like yourselves sharing real, helpful advice. Following conventional medical advice lead to decades of merely getting sicker and sicker.

Love this conversation- thank you both!
I've been making l-reuteri yogurt for over 5 years using og coconut milk and love it! I've been off Gluten 15 years and so grateful for that!

This year I've begun making natto using og soy beans, one of Japan's longevity foods, plus lactofermenting.
I do make gf sourdough (usually muffins) soaking the flours while increasing my gf starter.

Great interview, a lot of great learning, especially sibo yogurt, was bummed about him not recommending sourdough bread, oh well to each it's own, maybe a part 2 someday ...🤞

Great topic. At 52:03 on grains. I've been making overnight oats with kefir and yogurt with no problems. Without the kefir my face feels itchy almost immediately.

I purchased the book and did the gut health plan 2 months ago. I still make the yogurt and take the supplements suggested in the book. Unfortunately it did not work for me. I still suffer from constipation and have to take large amounts of magnesium just to have a bm and my hair is still falling out. 😢 The only improvement is better sleep, and my skin looks clearer and smoother.

So many questions that go unanswered on important subjects like this, but I understand they can't be answering hundreds of them. I just wonder the impact of barley in beer and the gut microbiome health. I feel great when I drink beer, especially IPAs (very bitter ones).

So I want to give you feedback it’ll be a year of Super Gut coconut cream yogurt that I make. I make a batch twice a month so I have 2 to 3 teaspoons in the morning and 2 to 3 before bedtime.

So I turned 69 in July and for the last three months I’ve noticed my skin on my arms. Looks so smooth like I’m 20 years old.

I also been following the bulletproof Dave Asprey for two years. I started adding collagen powder to my bulletproof coffee every morning two scoops which is about 18 g of protein.

I eat grass fed beef and I make my own bone broth also starting this year so I’m pretty sure the yogurt is what’s helping the skin cells I know the collagen helps in that too, but I’m pretty sure it’s been the Super Gut yogurt that’s changed everything.

PS no mouthwash anymore

You asked some very good questions. I was particularly interested in how long it takes to get a reaction from foods if you have SIBO. I sometimes will have a reaction immediately, and the next time I eat the same food, I have no reaction or a delayed reaction. Some docs say that SIBO is a motility issue. I know for sure that I do have that issue. I have only watched a handful of videos with this doctor, but haven't heard him mention that. Maybe the motility issue is caused by SIBO ?🤷‍♀️
