Forget TunerPro. Use This Instead.

If you use free tuning software to tune your LS based engine, you probably use TunerPro with either LS Droid or PCM Hammer. And if you use TunerPro, you've probably experienced problems trying to find the correct xdf file for your operating system, or you've had checksum issues when you go to save the file. Universal Patcher fixes both of those problems. In this episode I give a tutorial on downloading and installing Universal Patcher and demonstrate how to use it to remove VATS and rear O2 sensor DTC's.

You are an absolute legend, we have been trying to get an LS1 running in a lancia stratos kit car for years, couldn’t find the correct xdf file, now after following this video we have got her running in less than an hour, thank you so much 😂

So glad this worked with my OBDLink SX. 20 minutes to "read entire", then 3 minutes to flash no VATS "calibration".

Universal patcher is awesome. I am swapping to a p59 in a factory 0411 truck and the ability to compare to my stock bin to the p59 bit despite being a different pcm made tuning it to work easy

Thanks very much for your great information on tuning. I'm new to the tuning world and have learned a lot from your videos. I'm using PCM Hammer and Universal Patcher. I built a harness and using OBDLink MX+.

I used PCMhammer to read and verify my bin/OS file, was having issues with finding the right xdf file to make adjustments on tunerPRO, but universal patcher looks promising
