US election polling has 'never been better' for Donald Trump

Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says polling has “never been better” for Donald Trump with the US presidential election just six weeks away.

“Maybe people aren't as shy coming out as Trump supporters now. I'm not so sure,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“When you drill down and look at those polling companies that got it closer to right, companies like Atlas, Rasmussen, they're at the moment pretty strongly in favour of Trump.”
