I am a Canadian, so I will welcome comments on this as I am perhaps ignorant. I keep hearing Harris had 3 years to do this and that. I my view, the VP job does NOT influence policy too much. The President sets the direction and tone and tries to influence the House who writes the bills. The Senate then approves or changes the Bills back and forth with the House. But the VP's job is to be ready as a back if the President goes down, travel the country to glad hand voters and on rare occasion break a tie in the Senate. What policy things did Mike Pence bring to fruition? HELP ME.
