I was looking for a way to be able to read the comments that I wrote as they only showed up as little comment symbols in my document and I always had to click the symbols to see what the comment said. It was on Simple Markup setting as you mentioned. I set it to All Markup and voilà! All the comments appeared next to the text. Really easy and simple if you know where to look ;)

Writing Made Easy - It persists. I have Word 2013. I can turn off changes but it leaves an extra one-third page on the write of the normal size screen view of a word document.

How the hell do I get rid of it!
