He's a pretty cool guy, not aggressive towards the party, I'll never kill him.

It’s way easier if you just use Command (approach) over on the platform with the Adamantium chest and then stun lock with Command (grovel) and that one shortbow’s frightened effect while Karlach blows it up in 1-2 turns. Then you can loot it.

The one downside it seems you can't loot the body.

i just opened with gale then popped haste spore and used laezel to shoot arrow of Ilmater (there was one in the adamantine box as well for me)that prevents healing at him and used the slow transmute on him killed so quick, loots shit btw i got a pearl, malachite and 2 bloodstones

Lol i use glyph of warding ice (usually 2 or 3 glyphs kill it immediately on tactician) use minor illusion to lure it on the land then attack it there. Glyphs do not trigger when enemies are highlighted yellow or neutral. But the moment to hit it on the glyphs in immediately gets hostile and triggers the glyphs

I don't like killing ennemys this way since you can't loot them

You can also use Arrow of Ilmater each turn

What would happen if you thunderwaved him onto Grym's platform and started the Grym fight?

I zerged him with a bunch of summons and few melee criticals. he down before mode upstairs.

Do you miss out on loot doing it this way?

Is it just me or is that surprising little exp for such a tough boss. Do you gain more if you kill it “normally”?

I killed him in the center, but all thanks to your idea to take him away from lava :D

I love killing creatively, but the game punishes you for it as you won't be able to loot. If that could be addressed, i wonder how many more innovative plays we could see?

OK but where the fuck is the amulet? I thought if you kill the boss you’d be able to get it I can’t find it

I play on ps5 and he recovers from 20 to 120 hp points hahaa
