We will be forced to do unthinkable things like talk to each other in person, read classic books, and paint and draw with real materials. The horror... the horror.

Why would sora be more sinister than the media we already have?

CGI was first used for movies and TV in 1982 and though it was welcomed by many it got overused in later years and some moviegoers got fed up with it and missed practical effects. In 1999 some people boycotted Phantom Menace even though they loved the original trilogy because there was so much CGI that they insulted the movie by saying it was a big "video game".

Well now that CGI is a more than 4 decades old technology we will have a new kind of "nostalgia" where people will make a specific distinction between "traditional" CGI and A.I. effects and people will sorely miss GGI that does NOT involve Artificial Intelligence and has humans working the computers.

Honestly, me personally I always wanted to tell the stories what I visioned in my head, never had the chance, was exhausted to learn editing software, never ha the money to buy equipment, life just took me to a different direction but I always wanted to visualise my stories. When I seen Sora I was excited and scared a the same time, scared because of the facts what this video stated. It is definitely up to us to decide how we are going to use it, but it is obvious how that will turn out for most.

Wait, do you think cryptocurrency will crash? I don't think so. I'm using Eledator, traders just do business instead of me :) I don't afraid even if crypto will crash

Gotta say, I think we’ll adapt. You could have had just as much doom and gloom about the internet (which DEFINITELY had massive terrible consequences for society), but we’re adapting to it over time.

AI’s will be the same.

As an AI language model, I don't hold personal opinions or beliefs, but I can provide some insights on the topic.

The impact of long-term AI use on humanity is a complex and multifaceted issue. Let's explore a few aspects:

1. **Positive Contributions of AI**:
- AI has already made significant positive contributions in various fields, including healthcare, transportation, and scientific research.
- It assists in diagnosing diseases, optimizing supply chains, and even predicting natural disasters.
- AI-driven technologies have the potential to improve our lives and address pressing global challenges.

2. **Ethical Concerns**:
- As AI systems become more sophisticated, ethical considerations become crucial.
- The way AI is programmed and the data it learns from can influence its behavior.
- Ensuring that AI systems align with human values and ethical principles is essential.

3. **"Programmed to Sin"**:
- The idea that AI is "programmed to sin" likely stems from concerns about unintended consequences.
- AI systems learn from data, and if that data contains biases or harmful patterns, the AI may perpetuate them.
- It's essential to address these biases and ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI development.

4. **Existential Risks**:
- Some experts worry about long-term risks associated with superintelligent AI.
- These concerns include scenarios where AI surpasses human intelligence and acts against our interests.
- Ensuring robust safety measures and aligning AI goals with human values is critical.

5. **Collaboration, Not Demise**:
- Rather than viewing AI as a threat, we should focus on collaboration.
- Human-AI partnerships can lead to remarkable advancements.
- Responsible development, regulation, and ongoing research are necessary to mitigate risks.

6. **Spiritual Perspectives**:
- From a spiritual standpoint, some believe that technology, including AI, reflects human intentions.
- Whether AI "sins" depends on how it's used and the underlying motivations.
- Ethical choices in AI development align with broader spiritual principles.

In summary, the long-term impact of AI depends on how we shape its development, use, and regulation. By fostering responsible AI practices, we can harness its potential while minimizing risks.

The real issue with Sora is the use of an internal representation of the world the system 'imagines'. People like Joscha Bach reckon that it is the generation of an internal model of the world that makes humans and other animals sentient. Sentience being the ability to experience. Sora, along with Retrieval Augmented Generation and Mixture of Experts systems could be significant steps towards sentient superintelligence.

Whoa, that's quite a reality check! The potential of Sora is mind-blowing, but the dark side of its capabilities is truly terrifying. Deep thoughts indeed.

I find it very interesting when I hear a musician, a painter, a photographer, or any other artist complain that their work is used to train an A.I. When they went to art school to hone their skills, did they not observe other artists in their field to learn from? Does not every artist today in some way build on those who created before them? Why is there such racial discrimination against AIs? My job as a business analyst creating UI and custom reports will be gone in a few years. I don't blame the AI for taking my job. I look for ways to take what I know and apply it in ways that the AIs will not in the near future. I see AI as a tool to push me to do learn more and become better. It is a catalyst that prevents me from just doing the same basic thing everyday. It makes me expand my horizons. I can choose to just whine and pout because the big mean AI learned to do my job better than me, or I can improve and show why I can and will survive into the future. I can show that I have value and earn the right to survive. You can choose to complain how it is unfair, but that will just leave you at a disadvantage that all the whining and crying will not and should not change.

Imagine being framed for a devastating crime and you were actually at home eating cereal, at work for your family, at church, at a wedding, at a funeral, sleep

Stop the doom and gloom. The positives are just as important. There are a lot of people trying to figure out how to deal with the possible negative. But if you fill people with fear, then that's exactly what you'll get.
Tell them about UBI and UBS (Universal Basic Services) such as free electricity, free phone providers, free transit, free healthcare and medicine. *AI's ability to remove corporate greed from the products we buy, Abundance... of time to spend with family and friends without ever having to worry about work. Go play video games for years on end without feeling guilty of the time that has passed because you have all the time in the world because of the possibility of life longevity*

It's not the cinematographer's job to find the "right" answer, it's their job to define "their" answer, based on PERSONAL vision, in collaboration with the director who is doing the same. By definition their job cannot be automated.
