I genuinely don't think I've ever witnessed a YouTube upload have zero thumbs down with a like rating so high and view count as high. Congratulations again. You are definitely having an effect.

I really like what you're doing, helping us to get away as far as possible from companies like google, apple, facebook, microsoft etc. It's really hard to do and the average joe needs a nudge in the right direction! thx a lot!

Privacy is not always about software or hardware but most of all about how you are acting online.

It would be great to see a more in depth episode about mobile devices.

Hey man I live in China. I know the horrors because I see it almost every day On the main app we use to pay for goods we can see our social score.

You made me want to dive into Linux OS honestly I believe most people don't change because it is too inconvenient to switch and relearn a new OS.

I'm going to finally make the jump and switch over everything.

Strongly agree with this video. However, I do have to say; you can STILL be tracked via Tor nodes so it isn't 100% secure, if anything, you're 98% and the rest.. well, you can do the maths. This still increases your anonymity to a very high level which is good. Nice video :)

Fantastic info "The Hated One"
but even TOR is not safe from "man in the middle" attacks to grab packages on the fly and then there is the TOR "exit node" that can be set to track you. So if you use TOR, make sure you change identity and relays on a regular basis.

I love Linux too.

It may be more resilient against malware than Windows systems however, to say it is more stable than Windows and more resistant to vulnerablilities is completely generalised.

Windows and Linux stability is very similar plus it depends on what Linux flavour you have installed or which version of Windows you are running.

Furthermore, no matter how secure your operating system is, it highly depends on what software and services you are running on your system.

Be very careful stating open source software doesn't collect your data, there are many pieces of open source software that do.

Anonymity is great and all, but a video on censorship resistance would be great too, specifically decentralized networks like IPFS, Freenet, ZeroNet, SafeNetwork, Solid, etc. Some of these have anonymity built in, others have optional anonymity through Tor and I2P and some are still too early in development to focus on that. Of course Tor and I2P can also be used for censorship resistance because they don't know who hosts, but I like the idea of websites and services that can't be shut down even if the government finds the host. ZeroNet+Tor is already being used in China for exactly this purpose.
