Even though he played some dark characters, he brought a humanity to them. He made them fascinating and gave them life. Obama said that Omar Little was his favourite character from the Wire, because of the contradictions in his personality. Iam saddened by his loss not because I knew him, but because he seemed to be an honest, genuinely thoughtful, good person. The world needs more people like him.

Sad. Depression is no joke. Society tells people to avoid people who ate “down” or struggling bc it might effect you negatively, yet this is why people prome to depression suffer even more. RIP
