Does your kickstand ever move to far forward? I installed one on my bike, and there is not a dead stop to prevent it moving past the balance point

Look I not meaning anything bad by this but you didn't show me anything I needed to know like where the spring suppose to go, or how you lock the stand on what, like I'm sorry but I need help here this was not helpful
