Add a Kickstand To Your Bike 🚲 [ Bell Kickstand Install ]

Many bicycles do not come with kickstands - so let’s install one! I’ve used this Bell Bracer 300 on five different bikes now and it performs well. Thanks for the demo. I bought my granddaughter a 16" girls bike; it did not have a kickstand so we the Concord kickstand (looked identical to Bells). The illustration really helped and the bolt adjusted nicely for the height! Appreciate you! Kay

It depends on the BB drop. More drop means shorter length is adequate and vice versa. It has less to do with frame size or wheel size.

I also bought this aftermarket kick stand the silver one it also comes in black and it's good ..I don't have to put my bike down on ground anymore as I also care about my bike paint I always retouch my paint everytime i get a scratch

Thanks, @GanderFlight ! My Trek FX the dealer had to add a kickstand and that was back in 2016. I just bought a new Univega 27.5" Weekend Escape 2.0 Step-Thru, and their entire line does not come with kickstands--UGH. It's crazy to think that any owner will not at some point need to park their bike to do nearly any old thing to it which is impossible without one.

Good video. I bought my 20" city folder with a fitted kickstand and that was too long, this was straight from the manufacturer!

Less weight to ship and option to sell them separately to make money. I was wondering about the pros and cons of those cheaper rear kickstands?

Just cut pole and use the plastic foot it come with, don't need bolt then .

my bike mechanic tighten it to the point that made the frame flat, i was there when he installed it, is that normal to tighten it up till the frame become flat?

Because people don't want added weight to their bikes so they come w/o kickstands. Also MTB and BMX bad idea having a kickstand because when you are flying thru the air if it goues to the down position and you land on it you can have serious problems.
