I too switched from Gnome to KDE. Liking it a lot more. Was looking for this setting. Thanks for this

This helps a lot - older versions of KDE seemed to have better looking defaults (I have 5.27 running on Kubuntu on a laptop). I had tried playing with the blur settings but didn't think to turn off background contrast.

On a similar note - any tips on an easy and non-hacky way to give things like right-click menus a transparent blur effect? Or like in Zen browser, where on Windows 11 basically the whole UI besides the web page has transparency and blur?

I just cant make it work. On plasma 5 I used to use better blur and worked wonders but now I just cant get it to blur
