Did you know in the movie Coraline, something that was added to this movie that was not in the book is actually the character of Wybie. Wybie is not in Neil Gaiman's original novel and Coraline did not have anyone to talk to or any friends and they didn't want her talking to herself the entire movie, so they created Wybie. And I'm very glad they added Wybie into this movie. Wybie is actually one of my favorite characters from this movie and I think that his form in the other world though is one of the creepiest parts of this entire film. When I first watched the movie Coraline, I thought he was honestly going to be evil just by the way he wasn't talking and that something was up with him as well. Even though Coraline was extremely mean to Wybie in the beginning of the movie, let's not forget that Wybie was actually the reason why Coraline almost got trapped with the other mother. There are many theories online that say that the grandma was the one that gave it to Wybie to Coraline but it most likely turns out that Wybie just took the doll because it looked like Coraline and thought his grandmother had made it for her. It has never been revealed the grandma's true intentions or if she had any foul play involved with getting Coraline the doll.
