Marvel rivals is the reason why I won't play Overwatch. I've got one game like this, why would i try and play another where I'm outranked in every capacity?

I don't think Rivals is different from Overwatch in any meaningful way. Saying it'll "kill" OW2 is popular because hating OW2 is popular, but I just don't see it happening.

Honestly after playing it for a little bit I’m not convinced this won’t die after 6 months. It’s not bad at all it’s just…eh. Like I guess this is fine id just rather play something like the og overwatch because it’s essentially doing the exact same thing but at least it’s first person

Everything about the game is pretty good, the idea of gameplay like the destructive wall or some unique capacity, the graphics, the cinematics/lore, etc... but the game itself is just not fun to play. The game is laggy (fps, sound, capacity that does not work properly...), most hero are not balance especialy for a game with no hitscan and for a third person shooter, the game is mostly based on support but nobody play them correctly, the game feel really slow (movement, capacity, teamplay...) whatever the hero, it's the same community of overwatch so everyone think they are top 500 in the game even tho it's been out only for a few day, most people think it's a deadmatch game because "they are better" etc... I feel like I am playing a Marvel version of "Paladin chaos simulator" combined with Overwatch. I don't really see the game being competitive which is bad since it is the game that supose to replace Overwatch in long term in the "hero shooter" genre. Being a fan of these type of game, I hope they are gonna make the change we need for it to become a 9+/10 game and not just a "good game to play twice a year".

I'd give it a 6 or 7. I've only played a few hours and it feels less like overwatch and more like paladins without the perk system. It's cool but not likely something that i will keep playing long term.
