The Man Who DEFEATED Spartans

In the Battle of Leuctra of 371 BC, Spartans fought the army of Thebes, which was led by Epaminondas - the great military general and tactician who defeated the Spartans through his novel and clever use of his elite fighting unit - The Sacred Band. It is believed that the Sacred Band of Thebes comprised of 300 men who were the best and most well trained fighters in all of Theban army. It is also believed that these men were lovers and they participated in battles as couples who watched each other's backs and therefore were formidable on the battlefield. In this video, I have explained the Battle of Leuctra in Hindi, and explained how Thebes and the Sacred Band led by Epaminondas defeated the Spartans and ended their reputation of invincibility.

**Start with a Circle**: First, arrange your 12 rows long soldiers in a circle.12 rows is too long weak against spear formation of thebian our far way soldier become useless . This will help you deal with the toughest enemy unit, the Sacred Band, by keeping them surrounded and limiting their ability to fight effectively.
We will cover huge area there will be a hole no soldier nearby where sacred band has enter
It will look like computer poweroff button
2. **Change to an "M" Shape**: Once the Sacred Band is in the circle, start transforming Your circle formation into an "M" shape.
Bring last soldiers to front in a m shape Imagine (O M) the circle shrinking and the sides of the "M" moving inwards. This shape helps to push the enemy towards the center.

3. **Form the U-Shape**: Next, bring the two bottom points of the "M" to join middle center connected point together to create a U-shape.
Bottom of u will be dense and tighter .so send some soldiers on side of U. This makes the U formation tighter and forces the enemy into a narrower space.imagine the symbol of power off button in computer . but instead of circle it will be U.

4. **Attack from the Front and Sides**: With the enemy in the U-shape, attack them from the fron T(bottom of U) and the sides(Side line of U). This puts pressure on them and makes it harder for them to fight back.
Imagine theben in 50 rows 3 straight line each there will be pressure on front theben soldier due to dense spartain soldier at bottom and when attacking from their both left and right side theben middle line soldier will try to come on left and right which will narrower their spear formation.

5. **Counter Flanking Moves**: Send some of your soldiers to handle any enemy units trying to come around the outside of your U-shape. This will prevent the enemy from escaping or attacking from the sides.
And where the line of Theben is thinner let Spartans enter brom there to split the soldier of theben in half one inside U shape one outside of U shape. Imagine covering U from above by horizontal line.
And i will send my soldier on left and right side to run along with enemy line to attack from weak point and to not let them flank .
Weakness of their thinner line and far away soldier became useless

6. **Split and Conquer**: By pushing the enemy into a tighter space, you make their formation weaker. Focus on defeating the soldiers inside the U-shape first, while dealing with those outside.


This strategy helps you control the battlefield by compressing the enemy into a tight space where they are easier to defeat.
