A Boy and His App: The Story of Yahoo News Digest

At 17, London high school student Nick D’Aloisio sold his unique summarization technology to Yahoo. Today, he leads a team of Yahoo engineers and designers. Their goal? To redefine how news and information are consumed in a world gone mobile.

His parents must be so proud of him, where for the most part, kids his age are out drinking, getting drunk and using drugs. This is the exception to the rule where Nick is so focused and doing what's right. Most parents suffer greatly for children that are so belligerent, not listening to good advice, while doing drugs, making their own and their families miserable while Nick is a role model for other young people his age. Bless this young man for being who he is.

Crazy, personally I put my own ideas on shelf... and really if you believe in an idea, although as simple as it may seem, you never know what kind of potential it has! :). So refreshing to hear these stories as it inspires me to be a creator myself.

Nick seems to be a well grounded and gifted young man so I expect more cool things to come from him in the future. Whilst I will always be very grateful to Yahoo for the free e-mail account they gave me, Yahoo News and the comment section is something now I always avoid.
