Some people are really out here like "yes please, treat me like shit".

This is so dystopian. Like, what's the point? It's like rich people throwing pennies and laughing as they watch us fight over them.

The lack of designer experience was the most telling part. Herd you in like cattle, hurry you while showing you plastic and cheap garbage, tell you to pay now or leave. It’s more of a degrading experience than anything else.

Designer brands are intentionally inaccessible. Like that’s literally their shtick, the whole collab was insulting and honestly should be a good example as to why loyalty to high fashion houses is silly.

I believe this is called customer baiting.

Advertising then not having enough stock to accommodate your consumer base is misleading and stores need to be transparent if stock is unexpectedly low.
I know I’m Australia this is illegal and stores can be fined in court.

Honestly if you told me that these were from Shein or Faahion Nova... I wouldn't even bat an eye. The material they use, just looks so cheap... And if it looks that bad on a girl who's that freaking gorgeous... what is it going to look like on normal people!? 😂

I will never forget Jimmy Choo for H&M. That was one of the best collaborations they ever did. The quality was amazing and everything about it screamed High Fashion. I still have my bag from that collection and it’s still holding up beautifully after almost a decade old.

On top of that the prices aren’t affordable especially for the horrid quality. You can get really nice pieces for under $100 that far surpass their $200 “accessible” pieces lol

Idk how I got you in my feed and I don't care at all about fashion and only own 3 pants and 3 shirts but I love your content. It's so cool to see you go over these pieces or the experiences and point out all these details and pricing issues that I'd never have thought of or noticed.

We need more channels like this. Time to fight this ridiculous prices and consumerism. Maybe time to start shopping less frequently but actually buy quality items

It's not the same, but this reminds me of Temu's "shop like a billionaire" slogan: cheap companies with terrible business practices and worse products marketing the whole experience as luxury when it's somehow a worse experience than Walmart.

honestly I'm a HUGE Mugler fan and I'm pretty sure he would have NEVER let this collab happen if he was still alive

They usually also don't make the items in bigger sizes, and however you look at it, the idea might be designer, but the fabrics and the stitching are still H&M. It's not worth it.

Those "metallic" accessories look no different than my Christmas tree decorations which are just plastic that's been spray-painted with metallic paint 😭

I literally saw this comment on your muglerXHM collab video and I was thinking to myself that’s totally misguided. I’m glad you did a further deep dive

I was so hyped about the mugler collection, and then all the items were weirdly cut, unclean seams, uncomfortable textiles. It all looked cheap qnd juvenile 😢

You just shined some light on what I saw a few weeks ago. Everyone on the checkout line had the same exact sweater waiting to pay for it but it was not a pretty sweater. Must’ve been something like this that drove them to but those fugly sweaters.

You are telling the truth. Most designer collaborations with H&M and Target are extremely disappointing. The quality of the garments and feel of fabrics is very poor. Not worth anyone's time.

There’s nothing like middle class people running after companies that treat them like garbage

It’s like going to a designer factory outlet for marked down clothes and buying clothes labeled “(designer name) factory outlet”
