Patiala Violence | Punjab Govt Transfers Top Cops, Curfew Imposed & Internet Services Suspended

Punjab government has transferred two senior cops Patiala IG and SSP a day day after clashes between Shiv Sena supporters and Pro-Khalistan protestors In Patiala. Curfew has been imposed as tensions prevail in the area and Internet services have been temporarily suspended. After the violence, the state police has taken several steps to maintain law and order situation. The curfew has been imposed from 7 PM to 6 AM. Internet services have been shut from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken strict action against top officials of the Patiala police by transferring after they failed to control the situation.
