Finland desperately needs a new focus tree. It could be interesting to play Finland but sadly right now it's quite pointless with the default tree.

The British Empire under Edward VIII, the Netherlands under Wilhelmina, Trotskyist Mexico, and the Second American Civil War.

February 28 can't come fast enough for me to man those dem guns :)

Countries that can create formable nations (Greece[Byzantine Empire] and Turkey[Ottoman Empire]) should get their own trees and with large part of the focus dedicated to achieving their past empires. IMO

How can you add a Dutch mission tree, without adding Aruba as a province? 2 of the 4 largest oil refineries during that time was in Aruba (1 being Curaçao and 1 in Trinidad). Curaçao may have had the size, development and population but Aruba had the wealth. As an Aruban fan of the game, please make the Netherlands 1 small province bigger.

omg why is there so many people screaming for focustrees. Game mechanics are much more important like in this dlc naval combat and fuel

Alright, for everyone that claims that Mexico didn't do anything for WW2. As a mexican who loves to study WW2, I can assure you that Mexico contributed more than what people originally give it credit for.

It started with the strike to USA and UK by nationalizing the oil in mexican territory in 1938, it received spanish refugees and intellectuals escaping from the Civil War and Francisco Franco; they also received Leon Trotsky, and it was the ONLY country in the League of Nations to condemn the Anschluss.

Then it continued when it declared war to the Axis in 1942. It sent the 201st Squadron to the Phillipines, they arrested nazi spies and sympathizers trying to enter the US, and their huge influence in Latin America convinced other countries to cut ties with the Axis during the war.

Thank you for your attention

I love how you start your games with just couple of mechanics, something small, and then, every month you make it bigger and bigger until game is nothing more or less but just a perfection. It was like this with EU IV, CK2 and now it's happening with HOI4. Keep up the good work guys, you're awesome!

I think bulgaria and greece should have a focus tree because they were involved in the war

We need a Mediterran (Italy Revamp, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Yugoslavia) or Skandinavian DLC next (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and maybe Lithuania too, to restore the PLC)

Just a suggestion, Italy, Finland and Soviet Union both desperately need better focus trees. I’d also love to see more ideologies and more complex diplomatic actions. Peace Deals, would be a good thing to upgrade too.

The Soviet Union and Turkey are two nations that I’d like to see revamped. Trotsky is interesting, but there needs to more of an alternate route that destroys the USSR and restores the Tsarist Russia. The base Soviet path also needs a huge rework.
Turkey is also another nation that would be really fun to play if they had a sufficient focus tree. There really should be a path to restore the Ottoman Empire, and take back its historical boarders.

I'd like to see some development in a few areas:
Finland (Focus tree)
Thailand (Focus tree)
Greece (Focus tree)
Spain (Focus tree)
Bulgaria (Focus tree)
An update to the Soviet Union - a new system for purges and mechanics to measure the loyalty of the party etc.
France maybe???

One or two dlcs adressing these points would be great ;) One for Finland and the Soviets and one DLC for the rest^

Spain could use a focus tree for the next update, also I was wondering if this update would include a sort of delay to events as events pop up in the middle of the screen, sometimes leading to scenarios where you click a part of an event that you don’t want while using tanks or something (such as in Kaiserreich or during the Great Purge)
