omg i used to play DarkEden and a lot of other MMOs when I was between 10 and 15 years old, i always played as vamps and remember turning into bats, hiding from slayers with my online friends, raiding them for no reason, it was good times... the nostalgia is so real

this game looks really cool tho. i miss the old RPG elements like isometric classes and very few convenience things. Old rpgs feel more like an rpg than newer ones.

This game was awesome back in the day. Forming a large group to go on vampire hunts was intense, since it took a pile of hunters to take down a decently leveled vampire.

my uncle was so addicted to this game lol i used to sneak in his room and fuck up his gameplay lolol but this gameplay gives me good childhood memories :D

I remember this game back in the day. Dex slayer and a vamp character. PVP was exhilarating. Great game, all the hackers were a buzzkill thou.

just fyi, ousters and vampires do have classes, not like slayers but more like specs.
Ousters have combat (phys dmg only melee/aoe cast), fire (huge dmg low survi), water(something between healer/support but with aoe dmg as well), earth (pure tank) depending how u build them u can be more tanky or do more dmg, for vamps you've got dex vamps that are pure phys dmg and mage vamps building int with separate abilites from dex vamps that require int

Ah, when i was trying out all these MMOs years ago.. good stuff was rare, but it was interesting to play them for a bit at the time.

some basic info you MMOs.com and other ppl out there : darkeden has been alive and active for all these years and still has a lot of players in the west . for all these years there was korean server which let only koreans play it, and on the other side there were private servers for everone, also non koreans . Private servers were working till now, its kinda hard now since this global appeared but still, theres a lot of ppl playing it . What i suggest you is to go to Perona map and check out the crowd there, as u were surprised to see 4 characters lol . there ull see like 40-70 chars in one save zone, not even talkin about chars on other maps . Its kinda sad that everyone who maps first look about darkeden never goes to Perona map ( each race has its own perona save zone ) which is the main map for all players to chill, talk, trade etc.

this is actually an extremely populated game, you were just in the "dead zones" had you of gone to perona you would of seen 1000+ people in each race there
