Turkiye is now really successful in terms of health care, so people turned it to health turism. basicly you come here, visit some historical places and get your hair loss surgery. people also come for their teeth and to get their nose done etc. It is cheaper cause 1 american dolar is 34 turkish liras. 😊 I hope it helps

Was just in Turkey - Istanbul is lovely and a fun little vacation. It's not any farther than going to other European destination. Many women and men walking around with nose job casts. It's very socially acceptable there, and I believe for the hair transplants, they have really mastered the natural look. It's obviously cheaper b/c the cost of living is cheaper there.They really take care of you as far as I can tell. My husband wants to do it one day too!

Everything is cheaper in Turkey! Lots of ppl go to Turkey to fix their teeth, surgery etc
Also it's a beautiful country to have vacation. Huge cheap all inclusive hotels and beautiful beaches.

My understanding was that Turkey has some of the best doctors and that because of the way healthcare is structured there, the costs in general are much lower compared to other places. Not like that would be that hard to do compared to the US though.

You should definitely do research on medical tourism. Medical costs in the US are artificially inflated and many of these treatments don't need to cost so much.

When you think you’re smart by asking a lot of random questions! In a country where rent is 200$, high income is 1000$ and there is no insurance fraud then of course healthcare is cheaper. No on in 🇹🇷 can afford it otherwise 🤯

My husband grew up in Turkey and his family still lives in Turkey. Turkey's economy is trash. I'm not exactly sure what the exchange rate is, but last time I was there 13 Turkish dollars = 1 American dollar. I think it's closer to 30 now. So, that's probably a big component of why it's cheaper. Also, Turkey is a big tourist country because they have limited natural resources to profit off of.

If I’m not mistaken, the reasons for why American healthcare is so expensive is because of the effect of a lack of price caps, as well as lawsuits. Most countries have a maximum price for medication, treatment, etc, but the US does now, allowing insulin prices, for instance, to skyrocket. The protection of doctors against lawsuits is also supposed to have an effect on the price of healthcare, which is not something that is as common in other places, according to some basic research.

My friend went to turkey for dental work they saved enough money doing it that way than having it done here in Canada. They did an amazing job at a fair price.

Because when expenses are lower in a country, the wages are also lower- to be able to make the expenses that cheap. And also when the expenses are lower, you don’t need as high a salary to live.
So for natives, the prices are normal, but for foreigners, the prices are cheap compared to the prices in their home country.

It's because its way cheaper there, a lot of older content creators used to get their veneers there too because of the price .The hotel/transportation and food is usually included in the package (not the flights though).It is way cheaper, but I wouldn't trust it lol and prefer to keep my organs.

Currency exchange rate, and overall economy is the reason it’s cheaper in Turkey. A lot of medical care is cheaper, and more thorough, in Turkey. I’m currently saving up to go there myself, despite being in Canada where we have “free health care”, because I’m tired of not being taken seriously by my doctors and having to wait years to see specialists.
