Man your channel is gonna blow up some day and it will be very much deserved. You highlight some of the most interesting finds that I don't think I'd see otherwise

Great episode! Now I have to watch this movie. You sold me on the idea. Looks like a good one. 😁

I never heard of it until today. I really liked the atmosphere in the first half - I can’t help but look for fake snow (Krampus) so the real snow and authentic lodge were a plus.

Great review as always pal! Glad you’ve done this one as I’m a big fan of it. The creepy atmosphere and slow burn is really effective. 👍🏻

Just rewatched this gem. I originally saw it on VHS back in the 80s when I was a adolescent. And for some reason it left an impression on me. It’s got heaps of mood… the setting is incredible and the look of the film is great. I actually am fine with the acting… Riva Spier and Georgia Collons giving the best of the four performances… I even like the weird, sorta petering-out the story takes… it feels like a gothic tale. It’s not for everybody, but if you like mood and a slow burn, check it out.

I liked this one. Ever seen the 2000s wendigo? I love that film, I also recommend tourist trap and black Christmas from the 70s and the unseen from the 80s

Picked up the DVD blindly for a $1 years ago in a thrift shop. Very slow burn, creepy and fun!

I wish I got the Blu, but never did

I've never seen this one, but it definitely looks like my kind of movie! But man, this is crying out for a bluray release! C'mon Vinegar Syndrome! Although I agree, the print damage and grindhouse look would definitely bring back a sense of nostalgia. But I'm so spoiled now with 2K and 4K restorations and all that...

I agree totally with this review. I loved the first half. I really wanted to love it but it just fell flat for me. I am glad I was able to see this on YouTube. Had I enjoyed it a little more I would have purchased it but I know I'll never watch this again.

I think this movie is awesome. I watch it every New Year's and it's just great mood and atmosphere isolation I love snow horror so maybe I think different than you. I think the acting is fine and everything is nice and slow burn

As a Canadian this movie was honestly not very good, but I can appreciate its snowy shitty atmosphere(which was the main reason I watched it last shitty winter, I go on winter themed horror binges). Which you can clearly tell was shot in Canada.
I still can't believe I got meme'd into watching this by good bad flicks through his "explore" series, this movie was way too much of a drag to watch lmao

Hilarious, I just watched this movie over the weekend and then your review popped up in my feed. My phone is definitely listening to me. I remember seeing this film late at night when I was 8 years old. Creeped me out back then! Funny seeing it now as an adult, it's definitely is a bit dated and the acting is terrible. But I liked some parts. The ending didn't make much sense with the boyfriend. Not sure why he lost it like that. I guess because of the isolation? Overall, I enjoyed it again.

Hello Seth this movie will be my next video on my Channel 😊 Good call for Ty West's House Of The Devil 😊 It is a slow burn indeed.

God this movie is so bad...the bodycount is low, nothing really happens, the pace is very slow, the way the actors play their roles is really odd and strange. The ending is confusing too. I like Zaza's score, though. You like the fact nothing was explained in this film...I don't I mean it is too confusing (sorry I repeat myself) What I like in this movie is its snowy, cold atmosphere.
