Pure mood. I remember seeing it on VHS in the mid 80s and spent years trying to remember the name. I would say it’s a slow moody thriller.

Another good review. Never seen that film. By the way, have you watched Nightmares (1983) and After Midnight (1989). I just watched both tonight and thought they were okay. They're horror anthology movies so I don't think you like them...
