Full disclosure, this is shortened from a longer video we made a little while back... We know not everyone has time to watch those massive ones, so we're are taking some of the interesting points and shortening them down into more digestible vids. Hope yall enjoy regardless! 🙂

Full video link is in the description!

"Well-planned, neatly organized units."

If only their officer hierarchy took notes.

Ah. Star Wars military math and organization. How many people in the Army and Marines have had minor strokes.

The clone army is really really small for an army supposedly able to control the entire galaxy. Keep in mind that the GAR was about equivalent in manpower to Romania or Yugoslavia during WWII and pales in comparison to what the USSR, US, UK, China, Germany, or Japan fielded during the war. Nowadays, the 1.2M number given in AotC is about equivalent to the size of the US Army and just the Army. Also, the few thousand number given for troops to occupy a planet that has several billion inhabitants is woefully inadequate much less conduct a proper invasion of the planet. Realistically speaking, a true planetary assault force would require at least 100M men if not 5 to 10 times more in order to hold a cohesive front line. A brigade of 10, 000 may be able to hold a medium sized city, but for a planet, that will not work at all.

This is my biggest gripe with Star Wars writing, all the numbers downrated by a factor of 10, 000 to 100, 000 to the point where it is a far to small of a number to even be a viable combat engagement. If the GAR was supposed to be capable of galactic warfare, it would have to number in the trillions.

I love the clone troopers so so much they're just a regular army grunt in cartoon form it reminds me of talking to so many veterans and making fucked up jokes. I love it.

Oh cool a Geetsly video out on a Thursday again. Oh, wait it's just a shortened part of a long video I already watched. Oh well, it's a Geetsly video so it's automatically good, and it's one of the best parts of that video as it involved the Clones and numbers(I've always had a somewhat fasination with numbers).

Unrelated to this video, but do you think you could do a video on vibroblades at some point? On this and other channels, I see plenty of talk about lightsabers, blasters, even slugthrowers get mentioned, but I never see anything talking about vibroblades in detail, namely how they work, different types, etc.

Now, if only that AotC novelization didn't do that notorious typo on clone numbers.

We need a repulic commando 2. Forget it Star Wars Outlaws. Updated Phase 2 clone armour helmets weapons 6 months after the battle of Genosis. I want to see some generosity and accountability, Lucas Arts Games, for the PS5 Platform.

Why the fuck are there so many bots in this comment section? And you could do one of these for the Rebel Alliance, CIS, and Empire?

Three million clones? Never made sense. They spoke of units, regiments at the least.
