General relativity and quantum mechanics will never be combined until we realize that they take place at different moments in time. Because causality has a speed limit (c) every point in space where you observe it from will be the closest to the present moment. When we look out into the universe, we see the past which is made of particles (GR). When we try to look at smaller and smaller sizes and distances, we are actually looking closer and closer to the present moment (QM). The wave property of particles appears when we start looking into the future of that particle. It is a probability wave because the future is probabilistic. Wave function collapse happens when we bring a particle into the present/past. GR is making measurements in the predictable past. QM is trying to make measurements of the probabilistic future.

My hypothesis is it's a particle writing in a helical pattern. The helical pattern being affected by frequency so from the side it looks like a wave. But in fact at an angle a helical pattern. Therefore giving the photon angular momentum. So photons being passed through the double slit some is diverted by angular momentum

consider water. water as a liquid. now quantize the water by creating the smallest surface tension necessary to create a drop of water. this should be consistent if it is H20 only, as the forces in the water including hydrogen bonding will create the smallest possible drop of water. take a single drop of water and throw it at a wall and let it explode. this would be an example of a field, being quantized into a wave, acting particle like, and appearing to be classical when it is in fact also classical but appearing to be classical when it is actually a liquid, I.E. a wave acting particle like.
this is of course separate from the electrons that come off a given element when in a cloud chamber.

Hey Arvin I'm confused as to why there should be an interference like pattern for a single slit. Could you please explain? Whats interfering here? I have read how we treat each point on the slit as a source of secondary light waves but that just seems to be a make shift explanation. Kindly help.

I have unequivocally no real grasp on a lot of this stuff but I really enjow the Pilot Wave interpretation more than all the quantum uncertainty shenanigans.
