These are my top 15 home preventative maintenance tips that everyone should know. Most of these can be done once per year with others more frequently.

I would add one more tip, and that’s to clean the condenser on the condensing unit for your AC at least once a year preferably before turning on the AC after winter. This helps with the efficiency and puts less stress on the system. Just using a water hose and your thumb to give a good spray down should suffice. You don’t want to bend or damage the fins on the condenser.
